I would like the interactions to be on my terms, especially since I’ve been seeing sponsored tweets for Pepsi and McDonald’s showing up in my feed. These sponsored tweets actually upset me mainly b/c they aren’t doing their homework before choosing who to tweet to.
On the other hand, if it’s a brand I like, and they reach out, I’m ok with that since I have the choice to respond or ignore.
Not sure what this all means ~ but not a surprising direction for Twitter.
Geez, I guess this is where it’s all headed, right? I’m sure Salesforce is paying a pretty penny for all that data but it’s a creepy prospect.
I am guilty of not being totally Twitter savay. As much as I want to check in with friends and people I have met, I still prefer a phone conversation! Leaves no room for miscommunication!
This is interesting. Great for marketing, not sure how I feel as a Twitter user.
