Discover New Content from Your Facebook Friends’ “Interest Lists”

Are you leveraging Facebook Interest Lists? If not, I highly recommend it because it’s such an efficient way to manage your news feed and filter out the clutter. Interest lists allow you to view specific Facebook Pages based on the particular list you want to view. For example, if I want to view my “News” type of Facebook Pages I “Like,” I would simply view my “News” Interest List. Simple as that!

In addition to posting and managing our own content on Facebook, we spend a bit of time viewing and engaging with others’ content. If your Facebook friends have created their own interest lists and made them accessible to the public, friends and/or friends of friends it’s likely you can view what’s listed.

Why not “shop around” for Pages you may not have found?

I found this incredibly helpful in finding Pages easily and adding more to my current Interest Lists such as “News,” “Retailers and Brands” etc..

To find your friends’ interest lists and view Facebook’s suggestions for you, follow these steps:

1. Click “Add Interests” on the left navigation.
2. Facebook will present a landing page with a search bar, List suggestions and List categories.
3. Enjoy browsing!
